Stephanie Toporowski: Barre Fitness, POUND, Masala Bhangra & Piloxing Instructor

Stephanie grew up in Shrewsbury, MA, where she actively participated in gymnastics, cross country and track. She went on to earn an A.A. in Visual Arts, a B.S. in Psychology and M.A. in Counseling Psychology.

Stephanie met her Canadian husband while she was playing for the Worcester IceCats and spent several summers as the only female training exclusively with professional ice hockey players. This reawakened her love for physical activity, but with two small children she found it difficult to find and keep a balance between family and self. This was further complicated by the constant relocating and travel that ensued. Finally, after spending 15 amazing years living in 16 cities across 7 different countries, they settled in Massachusetts where Stephanie was able to focus on and combine her passion for helping others with her love for exercise. She completed her Barre instructor certification in the Fall of 2013, her Piloxing instructor certification a few months later, and her POUND and Masala Bhangra instructor certifications in 2015. Stephanie also holds a First Aid/AED/CPR certification and currently volunteers as a rape and sexual assault hotline counselor.

Lisa Kohne: Zumba & Turbokick Instructor

Lisa loves dance fitness because it’s so much fun! In a class, you never feel like you’re “working out.” It’s more like you’re at this amazing dance party with all your friends!!! And you burn between 500-800 calories (or more) per hour while you’re at it!

One of the best parts is…you don’t need any dance experience! You don’t even need to be “in shape.” All you need is the willingness to have a great time! A water bottle, comfy workout clothes and a good pair of dance fitness sneakers are a plus, too.

Zumba Fitness® is often the ‘door’ through which people become fitter, healthier, happier, less stressed, reconnect with their passions or discover ones they never had before! It can lead to a true ‘fitness journey’ that prompts many positive lifestyle changes for most people.

It’s Lisa’s sincere desire that you’ll get fit, stay fit, re-ignite your passions and pursue the things YOU LOVE, too!

Lisa is certified by the American Fitness and Aerobics Association (AFAA) in Primary Group Exercise Instruction and holds CPR and AED certifications. In addition she has over 15 years of dance experience and specialty trainings in exercise injury prevention.

Lisa’s fitness training includes certifications & licenses in the following:
Zumba Fitness® (Basic 1 & 2), Zumba Toning®, Zumba Gold®, Zumba Gold Toning®, Zumba Kids®, Zumba In The Circuit®, Zumba Core®, Zumba Glutes®, Pro Skills®, Hip Hop Hustle®, Turbokick®, Masala Bhangra Workout®, Aqua Tai Chi, Yoga For The Back & Spine, and Pilates On The Ball.
